RICHIE McDONALD SERENADES
97.3 the Eagle, morning show personalities Jimmy Ray Dunn and Jennifer Lewis, had selected couples on the air that requested to get married on Valentine’s Day. All in all, forty-one couples said “I Do” during the live broadcast on Valentine’s Day.
The wedding was broadcast live from Grand Affairs between 6am and 10am. Jimmy Ray and Jen served as the best man and matron of honor for the couples. After each couple had been introduced the ceremony began with the couples taking their vows simultaneously live on 97.3 the Eagle.
97.3 the Eagle has married hundreds of listeners over the past sixteen years. Each year various national recording artists such as Martina McBride, Keith Urban, and Steve Holy have provided live entertainment for the “first dance”. This year 97.3 the Eagle was pleased to welcome Lonestar’s former front man, Richie McDonald. Richie serenaded the couples with their first dance as husband and wife. McDonald performed Lonestar’s multi week number 1 “Amazed”.
